Terms of service
I hereby authorize Servientrega International Inc. to review the contents of my shipment at its sole discretion in accordance with the provisions of the code of federal regulations CFR 49 and because Servientrega is an IAC (Indirect Air Carrier) regulated by the Transportation Security Agency (TSA).
I agree that Servientrega may reject my shipment at its discretion at the time or after its acceptance if it finds items such as:
Medical supplies, jewelry, military clothing and/or shoes, guns or war toys, pornography, money or negotiable securities, used spare parts, any item contaminated with fuel, narcotic substances, compressed gases, explosives, incendiary materials, flammable substances and/or other destructive substances, security camera systems, seeds, sausages, cheeses and other non-canned animal products, pet food, witchcraft items.
I hereby declare under oath that the description and declared values of the articles to be transported by Servientrega correspond to the truth and are objects of lawful trade. Servientrega International Inc. as my Transport Agent is responsible for the accepted described articles and will recognize the declared value, freight and taxes if there is a total loss. In case of damage to the content, I agree that an investigation will be carried out that may last up to 30 days and whose final result will determine whether the damage is recognized.
I agree that no claims will be accepted for partial loss. I AGREE THAT ALL CLAIMS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING WITHIN 72 HOURS OF RECEIPT OF THE CARGO AND THAT NO CLAIMS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THAT TIME. I acknowledge that I am responsible for the proper packaging of the items I am shipping.
I agree that Servientrega will not recognize damage caused to fragile items that are not in their original factory packaging suitable for transport. In addition, Servientrega does not insure glass, crystal, porcelain or works of art.
I accept that Servientrega WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR UNDECLARED MERCHANDISE OR FOR ANY ITEM THAT IS PROHIBITED FROM TRANSPORTATION.
I agree that the Customs of the destination country may re-evaluate the taxes payable or retain my shipment if it finds discrepancies between the declared value and the physical content or differences between the declared value and the market value. I agree that shipments in commercial quantities or incorrectly declared may be subject to customs retention without the right to a refund or change of modality.
In the event of retention, I authorize Servientrega to present the export documents to Customs. Servientrega is not responsible for the time taken by this process before Customs or for the final decision issued. I release Servientrega from all liability in the event of delay in the delivery of my shipment due to CUSTOMS DELAYS, HOLIDAYS, STRIKES, ROAD DAMAGE AND FORCE MAJEURE EVENTS.
RESTRICTIONS: Law 1369/2009 Resolution 3095/11 CRC Commercial Code (article 981 – transport contract and following) BY NATURE Objects that due to their content may cause harm to collaborators or damage other shipments.
Hazardous, polluting, flammable or explosive materials, fuels. Goods that must be kept refrigerated, frozen or heated and whose conservation is greater than 24 hours. Compressed or poisonous gases, gas cylinders, refrigerants, radioactive material, infectious, corrosive or poisonous substances, fatty materials, dye powders and other similar materials, organic and hospital waste, oxidants, organic and industrial peroxides, catalysts, chemical pigments, plastics, paints.
BY VALUE Precious metals in bars or powder, cash and other valuable objects, such as coins, platinum, gold and silver, manufactured or not, banknotes representing currency or any other bearer value, jewelry, precious stones or any other precious objects, objects constituting the historical or cultural heritage of Colombia. Antiques, works of art, artistic objects.
LEGAL PROHIBITIONS Organic material, plants, opium, marijuana, cocaine, morphine, heroin or any other type of narcotics or hallucinogens, except for shipments for medical or scientific purposes, dangerous chemicals, industrial materials, oxides (imo), flammable and combustible, Animals, Weapons, ammunition and war elements of all kinds, or any other object of illicit trade. Machines for minting money, or skeletons for banknotes.
DUE TO PACKING AND PACKAGING CONDITIONS Fragile items and elements that are not adequately protected and packaged. Shipments with open packaging or in poor condition should not be received.
DUE TO HANDLING CONDITIONS Profiles in aluminium, wood, iron or plastic, pipes in any type of material. Industrial machinery weighing more than 150 kg. Marble slabs, flints, porcelain, tiles and sanitary ware.
